At one time or another, someone has asked for cheat codes for games I have played. However, does having the cheat codes take the fun and challenge out of the games? Do they add to the gaming experience, or diminish the magic the game might have held for you?
Or does it even exsist. some have claimed to have found it but others say it is the red buttons trickery at work. Can anyone provide a picture of were this mysterious white button can be found for those of you who many not know what im talking about here is a link.

I’m referring to games like Battle for Wesnoth. Fun, extensive games that last for a long time, are plot driven, and have decent replay value.
I want them to be downloadable, since online games tend to have limits such as monthly bandwidth.
I absolutely do not want “free trials”, just plain free gaming.
