I got Bonvoyage as a gift and installed it without bothering to back up my previous game (yes, mistake #1 and pretty dumb, I agree.)
ALL of my custom content is GONE. Jack Sparrow the Pirate, Warrick the CSI and others are Unemployed. Pregnant teens are pregnant no more. Custom objects flash blue. I tried a couple of suggestions from other forums such as making sure custom content was enabled and attempted to simply remove and put back custom objects, but costom objects are no longer available.
NOT using the InSiminator hack; have different teen pregnancy hack. Likewise, loads of custom occupations, objects, etc. (it’s the loss of custom jobs have me the most upset — there just aren’t enough fun jobs that come w/ the Sims to begin w/.)
At this point I’m not interested in playing game as-is. Jack as an unemployed schuck isn’t as much fun as Jack the Pirate.
With that in mind, what’s the worst that will happen if I uninstall Bonvoyage? Any other ideas?
